A
rare look at the Lady Rainier statue in it's original fountain setting
from around 1910. The statue was imported from Germany by the Seattle
Brewing and Malting CO in 1903. This photo, taken during a cold and
snowy Seattle day, shows Lady Rainier surrounded by ice formed from the
water that shot from her glass of Rainier. The statue would later be
moved to it's current location at the old Rainier Brewery. (now Tully's)
